1. Introduction

These Terms of Service explain how commissions are handled at Tsuny Fursuits Studio. Please note that these terms may be updated over time.

2. Commission Order

2.1 How to Order a Commission

Requests for custom-made fursuits must be submitted through the commission form available on the Tsuny Fursuits website.

The client must submit a reference sheet of their fursona together with the commission form. If certain parts of the character cannot be clearly identified from the reference artwork, the studio may interpret and create those details according to its own artistic judgment.

2.2 Evaluation and Price Quote

After the commission form has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the studio. A final quote will be provided based on the base prices listed on the website and the complexity of the character.

The studio reserves the right to accept only character designs that best fit the studio’s artistic style.

2.3 Production Queue

Once the initial payment has been received (see Section 3), the commission will be added to the production queue, which can be followed through our Trello board (Tsuny Fursuits Trello).

The commission will be scheduled for the next available production month according to the order in which payments are received.

Notes:

  •  Fullsuits: Fullsuit commissions reserve two production months.
  • Individual parts: Commissions such as tails, paws, or individual head components (ears, face, skull, etc.) may share the same production month with other small commissions. These orders will generally be shipped together at the end of that month, as described in Section 6.

2.4 Beginning Production

At the beginning of your assigned production month, the studio will contact you to collect the remaining balance before production begins.

2.5 Design Changes

Before production begins, minor changes may be approved at no additional cost.

Major design changes will be reviewed by the studio and may require an additional fee. This fee may be paid before production begins or through a separate invoice.

Once production has started, requested changes will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The studio reserves the right to refuse any changes that differ significantly from the approved design used to reserve the production slot.

3.Payment

All payments are made in Euros (€).

To reserve a production slot, an initial payment of 40% of the total commission price is required. This payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Materials will not be purchased, and production will not begin until the initial non-refundable payment has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid at the beginning of the assigned production month (see Section 2.4).

If necessary, the studio may offer a payment plan. For example, the remaining balance may be split into two installments of 30% each, or into additional installments if your commission is still far from its production month. Payment plans are evaluated individually through the studio’s official communication channels (see Section 7).

Please note that your commission will only be shipped after full payment has been received.

Each invoice, including the initial payment and any subsequent payments, must be paid within 3 days of being issued.

If the initial payment is not received within 3 days, the commission request will be automatically canceled. A new commission request must then be submitted, placing the client at the end of the waiting list.

If a later payment is overdue, a €100 late fee will be added to the next invoice.

4. Cancellation

If the commission is canceled, the initial 40% payment is non-refundable.

Any payments made beyond the initial deposit may be refunded on a case-by-case basis.

If production has already begun, any refund will depend on factors such as production time already invested, materials used, and the reserved production slot.

In this case, the project may be modified and repurposed for another client or converted into a premade suit, depending on its stage of completion.

The studio may also cancel the commission if it is unable to contact the client for a period of 10 days (see Section 7).

5. Production Time

The studio does not guarantee exact completion dates.

Unexpected delays may occur due to production issues, supplier delays, shipping delays, illness, or other circumstances beyond the studio’s control.

Delays may also occur if the client takes a long time to respond to requests for information.

As described in Section 2.3, the studio normally begins one new project at the beginning of each month and aims to ship it by the end of that same month.

For Fullsuit commissions, shipping is estimated for the end of the following production month.

Please note that these are estimates and delays may occur.

If a project is completed ahead of schedule, the studio may begin work on the next commission earlier than originally planned.

6. Shipping

As stated in Section 3, commissions will only be shipped after full payment has been received.

Orders are normally shipped at the end of their assigned production month, or at the beginning of the following month if delays occur.

Shipping is handled through DHL, with all packages shipped from Germany.

Once the package has left Germany, any customs duties, import taxes, handling fees, or other charges required by the destination country are entirely the client’s responsibility.

The studio is not responsible for any customs charges, taxes, or damage occurring after the package has left the country of origin.

If both parties agree, personal delivery at an event or convention attended by the studio may also be arranged.

7. Communication

The studio regularly shares commission progress through its Telegram channel and social media accounts listed on the official website.

The production queue can be viewed through our Trello board.

Formal communication must be conducted through the studio’s official email address.

Informal communication may take place through the studio’s official Telegram channels.

The studio will primarily contact clients via email. If no response is received, other communication methods may be used.

If the studio is unable to contact the client within 10 days, the commission may be canceled due to non-payment or lack of communication.

8. Warranty

The studio provides a 3-month warranty beginning on the date the commission is shipped.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects, construction errors, and workmanship issues.

If covered under warranty, the client may send the fursuit back to the studio for repair at no repair cost.

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper care, or normal wear is not covered under the warranty. However, the studio may still perform repairs for an additional fee depending on the extent of the damage.

In all cases, shipping costs to and from the studio are the client’s responsibility.

Any modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than Tsuny Fursuits Studio will void the warranty. The studio may still offer repair services at its discretion for an additional fee.
